Le prix va de 8 000-25 000 € pour une moulurière d'occasion à plus de 100 000 € neuf pour une moulurière industrielle multi-outils haute cadence. Durée de vie de 20 à 25 ans, les jeux d'outils de profilage étant des consommables à remplacer selon les profils réalisés. Nécessite une alimentation électrique adaptée, un système d'aspiration des poussières, et un jeu d'outils spécifique à chaque profil de moulure.
